Tami Elaine Wehrly Tami Elaine Wehrly, age 56, passed away peacefully to be with her dad in Heaven on March 10th. She was the daughter of Gerald and Ruth Wehrly of Angleton. Tami was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on May 25, 1960. She was an Air Force "brat" and lived in many places during her early days. Tami graduate from Limestone High School at Loring AFB, Maine in 1978. After serving as a dental assistant for several years she went on to UT Science and Dental Health School to become a dental hygienist in 1933. She practiced for many years in Houston and San Antonio. Tami was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Wehrly, her paternal grandparents, Odis and Esther Wehrly, her maternal grandparents, Jack and Maudis Greenawalt, and her uncle, Robert Wehrly. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Wehrly and her brother, Gerald "Rusty" Wehrly. She also leaves behind her longtime companion, "Prissy the cat". Tami's burial will take place with a small family service at the Angleton Cemetery Pavillion on Thursday, March 16th at 2:00 p.m. Tami was an animal lover and would be please if in lieu of flowers you would make a donation to the Angleton Police Department Animal Control, 535 South Anderson, Angleton, TX 77515 or the charity of your choice.
