Teresa Mata

Teresa Mata, 90, of Angleton passed away on September 9, 2021 in Hope Mills, North Carolina. Teresa was born on February 8, 1931 in San Antonio to parents Nemecio and Mariana Marbaez Mata. She moved from Brownsville to Angleton in 1989 and was a member of the Catholic faith. Teresa had a sense of adventure and loved to travel. While at home she enjoyed knitting and working crossword puzzles. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents. Those left to treasure her memory include her sons: Franciso, Juan, Trinidad, Nemecio and Jose Alfredo Limon, and Arnulfo Barrera; daughters: Maria De La Rosa and Teresa Milner; brother: Jesu Almaraz; sister: Berthat Alicia Almaraz; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family members and friends. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Palms Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Angleton Cemetery. Service Details.
