Terrell "Terry" Lynn Roberts

It is with profound sadness yet deep appreciation for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Terrell “Terry” Lynn Roberts, who departed this world on March 8, 2025, at the age of 71. Born September 13, 1953, in Freeport, TX, Terry was a longtime resident of Angleton, where he devoted countless years to both his career and his community.

Terry was more than just a Project Coordinator for Dow Chemical/KSI for 45 years; he was a dedicated friend, a loving family man, and a steadfast pillar of the Angleton community. In Terry’s spare time between honey-do’s and his meticulous yard work, he loved to go fishing, play a round of golf, hang out with his children and grandchildren, and just sitting in his favorite chair, listening to “Bon Jovi” songs on his laptop. Terry was an Eagle Scout, having earned all the required badges on his own. He was also a member of the Angleton Purple Pride Band, serving as drum major his senior year. Terry was a top notch French horn player making all-state band. He maintained his first chair position after most of Mr. Hood’s famous challenges. Christmas was Terry’s favorite time of year. Beginning about two weeks before Thanksgiving, Terry would start to hang his outside lights, and putting up Christmas trees was his passion. When his children were young, he spent many days coaching Little League baseball and even served as President of the Angleton Little League Association. Terry’s latest endeavor was serving Angleton on the City Council and a few city boards. He looked forward to attending meetings and spending time with his friends on the Council. Terry was a dedicated leader who worked tirelessly to improve Angleton. He made thoughtful decisions, collaborated with others, and always put the well-being of the community he loved first. He was also a proud member of First Baptist Church of Angleton, since January 7, 1978, Terry’s life was a testament to service, generosity, and kindness. His commitment to excellence in his work was only surpassed by his devotion to his family and his faith. Terry was nothing if not a family man. He loved spending time with his children and grandkids. His four-legged grand-dog, Jack, looked forward to his evening walks with Terry and his daily treat.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Pamela Kaye (Carleton) Roberts, who was his rock throughout their journey together, alongside his cherished children, Kyle Roberts (spouse; Jessica) and Courtney Craig (spouse; Chris), and his brother, Tommy Roberts (spouse; Debbie). Each of them will carry forward the values and love that Terry instilled in them, ensuring that his legacy continues to inspire and uplift. Also left to cherish his memory are his precious grandchildren, Gavin Craig, Brynlee Roberts, Cooper Craig, Adelaide Roberts, Ethan Roberts, Logan Roberts, and many other family members.

Funeral services honoring Terry’s remarkable life will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with public visitation beginning at 12:00 PM at First Baptist Church, where he shared countless moments of joy and fellowship. Pastor Chris Moore will officiate services for Terry. Following the service, Terry will be laid to rest at the cemetery at 328 Cemetery Rd., Angleton, TX, where friends and family will gather to celebrate his life and the indelible mark, he left on everyone he encountered.

As we remember Terry, let us celebrate his life, his love, and his unwavering spirit, knowing that he will forever remain in our hearts.
