Terrie Lee Underwood

Terrie Lee Taylor-Underwood, age 56, of Angleton, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Terrie was born on August 29, 1958 in Freeport, Texas. She was the last of four daughters born to Deanie Tarkington Taylor and Henry Claude Taylor. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16 at 11:00 a.m. at the Palms Funeral Home in Angleton with the public visitation prior to the funeral from 10-11 a.m. Interment will be at the Angleton Cemetery. Terrie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister and best friend, Toni Taylor Marek. She is survived by her husband, Louis Kadlecek, her son, Brandon Lee Thomas, his wife, Staci, and her grandson, Drake, and her beloved dog, Daisy. Other survivors include sisters, Suzanne Smith and husband, Tom, of Tomball; Pat Taylor of Brenham; several nieces and nephews; and Louis' children, Jinny, Louis P., Amy, and Kelly Kadlecek. Terrie lived in Angleton her entire life and graduated from Angleton High School in 1976. As a young girl, she loved the beach and spent many hours there with her friends. As an adult, she enjoyed going with Louis to Lake Somerville to fish and enjoy nature. She was always an avid animal-lover and cared for Katie, the miniature pinscher Terrie took after her mom died. After losing Katie, she and Louis eventually got Daisy, a long-haired miniature Chihuahua whom she dearly loved.
