Theodora "Dora" Torrez

Theodora "Dora" Infante Torrez, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at the age of 75 on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Dora was born on April 1, 1946, in Nixon, Texas to Fortunato and Juanita (DeLeon) Infante. She enjoyed working as a head custodian in the Angleton Independent School District for 20 years before retiring. She married Ovidio Torrez on October 13, 1969, and they raised two daughters, Lisa and Cynthia. Dora loved sewing, listening to the Beatles, and reading books on her Kindle. Spending time with her family was her favorite pastime. Dora was known for her big, beautiful smile and her kind and loving spirit. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Dora is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ovidio, her two daughters, Lisa and Cynthia, her sisters Feliciana Kuhns and Jesusa "Susie" Villa, one granddaughter, Meagan Rangel Manaria, one grandson, Reece Glenn, three great granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews. Honorary Pallbearers: Reece Glenn, Michael Villa, Julian Torrez, Mike Tran, Alex Navarette, Mario Nunez, Randy Shultz, and Gary Blumberg. Visitation will be held at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton on Monday, August 30, 202,1 from 5-7 pm with a Rosary Service to follow.
