Thomas Clayton Bielstein, 78 passed away in his home near Richwood Texas on June 12th, 2018. He leaves behind his wife of 33 years Judy Willy Bielstein and his sons Michael Bielstein, Steve and wife Trish Bielstein, Doug and wife Karen Bielstein and stepson Richard and wife Jerilyn Rhodes and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with many close friends. Tom was born and raised in Victoria Texas son of Clayton Lewis and Lucille Murphy Bielstein, he was a long-time resident of Brazoria County. Tom was preceded in death by his father Clayton Lewis Bielstein and his mother Lucille Bielstein Tate and stepfather Lawrence Tate and brother Jim Bielstein. In Tom's early years he worked in an ice plant chipping and delivering ice for ice boxes after graduating from St Joseph High School he attended Victoria Junior College receiving both standard and pre-standard American Institute of banking certificates. Tom join the American Bank of Commerce of Victoria and worked for 6 years. Tom was then elected assistant vice president and cashier of First National Bank of Port Lavaca then transferring to Dallas as a bank Examiner. Tom held numerous banking positions finally completing his career at Texas Gulf Bank. Tom's Hobbies included wood carving, hunting, fishing, trap shooting and ranching. You would often find Tom tinkering around the ranch on his gator or on his tractor. He was an extremely hard worker, and enjoyed working outdoors, working cattle and building fences. Tom was also a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church of Danbury and was very involved with the church and helping those less fortunate. Family will receive visitors Friday, June 15, 2018 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church of Danbury Texas from 5 to 8 p.m, Rosary at 7:00. Funeral services and Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday June 16, 2018 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church of Danbury.
