Thomas John Cook passed away on September 6, 202,1 at the age of 87. He was born on July 31, 1934, in Vernon, Florida. He enlisted in the U.S. Army where he proudly served. After leaving the Army he worked as a truck driver where he met many people who became good friends. He married his wife Jerri Cook and they settled in Angleton, Texas to raise their family. He also volunteered as a Shriner Clown and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his son Kevin Cook; grandson Stephen Cook (wife Amy Cook); grandson Thomas Cook-Cruz; granddaughter Samantha Leago (husband Micheal Leago); grandson Montana Cook (wife Alissa Cook), and granddaughter Kansas Cook; as well as many great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Jerri Cook, son Joe Cook, son Kerry Cook (wife Evelyn Cook), parents Thomas and Eliza Jane Cook. Visitation will be held at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton on Friday, September 17, 2021, from 10:00-11:00 am, with funeral to follow at 11:00.
