He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, J.N. & Barbara McDonald and Brian & Wilma McDonald, Mary Ann McDonald, all of Bay City TX; and Joyce Turner of College Station Texas. Thomas has numerous nieces and nephews throughout the country. The true extent of his family was extensive. TL McDonalds hospitality and love of life was infectious. He loved the sea, the stars, and nature and never missed an opportunity to share his knowledge with the many children that he and his wife welcomed to their home. Throughout his life, hundreds of children claimed Poppy as their own. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on November 22nd at the McDonald Farm in Angleton. Poppy grew his own flowers and they are blooming in abundance. The family requests that donations be made to Texas Childrens hospital. We will miss you, Poppy.
