In Loving Memory Of Thomas "Tom" William Kucera September 18, 1954 ~ February 18, 2022 Thomas "Tom" William Kucera, 67, of Angleton, Texas passed away on February 18, 2022 in Webster, Texas. He was born on September 18, 1954, in Harlingen, Texas to Frank and Naomi Lee (Palmer) Kucera, Sr. Services for Tom will be on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home with Skyler Sykes officiating. The family will welcome friends for a time of visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. until service time. Tom loved fishing, baseball, and barbequing. He absolutely adored his grandchildren. Tom was a loving husband of 40 years to Terri Lea (Carlton) Kucera, and loving dad to Kira and Matt. He retired after 35 years from Schlumberger as a manufacturing engineer. Tom will be remembered for his great sense of humor. He will especially be remembered for his love of his grandchildren: Justo Reeze Rivera, Raymond Thomas Angel, Christian Brendan Barajas, Matthew Brian Kucera, II., Dominick Daymon Barajas and Madison Belle Kucera, all who lovingly know him as their Gramps. Left to cherish Tom's memory is his wife, Terri Lea (Carlton) Kucera whom he married on August 28, 1981 at Park Place Lutheran Church in Houston, Texas, his children: Kira Elizabeth Kucera and Matthew Brian Kucera (wife, Juanita), brothers: Frank Emil Kucera, Jr. (wife, Glenda Lee) and Howard Lee Kucera (wife, Sheila Kay), his sister, Evelyn Marie Bowlin, his grandchildren: Justo Reeze Rivera, Raymond Thomas Angel, Christian Brendan Barajas, Matthew Brian Kucera, II., Dominick Daymon Barajas and Madison Belle Kucera, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Naomi Lee (Palmer) Kucera, Sr., his in-laws: William "Bill" Hugh and Doris Josephine Carlton, and brother- in-law, Michael Lynn Bowlin.
