Tommy Glen Copeland Tommy Glen Copeland, 76, of Danbury passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at his home. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2012 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Copeland officiating. Burial will follow in the Danbury Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5-7 at Palms. Mr Copeland was born May 2, 1936 in Coleman, Texas to Ira Lee & Cora Lee (Dillard) Copeland and was a US Army Veteran. He was a Master Carpenter and was owner and operator of Tommy's Custom Cabinets, where he built beautiful cabinets for many homes in Brazoria County. His work ethic and craftsmanship brought praises from many customers. Tommy had a great love for John Wayne and any movie he was in. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather. Survivors include his wife of 56 years Daisy Copeland of Danbury Children; Tommy Copeland, Jr of Ft. Worth, William Wallace of California, Nancy McIntire & husband Jerry of Hurst & Carolyn Garrett & husband Rodney of Danbury. 6-Grandchildren, Crystal Wallace, Bret McIntire, Amber Long, Christopher Garrett, Jessica Garrett & Kevin Copeland. Great-Grandchildren; Trevor McIntire, Collin & Audrey Southerland & Cherish Garrett. Brothers; Don Copeland of Tyler, Kenneth Wayne Copeland of Lake Jackson, Robert Copeland of Humble & Gerald Copeland of Clute. Sisters; Lois Nowline of Valley Mills & May Poe of Breckenridge. Pallbearers will be Bret McIntire, Christopher Garrett, Kevin Copeland, Trevor McIntire, Cruz Mercado & Jeff Holt.
