Tony Edward Bilbrey was born August 18, 1983, in Odessa, Texas. He left this world on August 21,2021. Tony grew up in Odessa where he dreamed of one day joining the military and saving lives. He accomplished all of that and more. He can be considered an all-around hero. In 2005 Tony found his calling and joined the United States Army. While in the Army, Tony served two tours in Iraq and fought for his country. While in the military he met many close friends that he considered family. Most of his stories would end up including the military in some way or another. It was a very big part of his life. After his time in the United States Army, Tony became a firefighter and then later he became a police officer. He was very proud to serve his country and community. Tony was an amazing husband, father, brother, and son. When Tony loved you, he loved you deeply. His family was the most important thing to him, and he showed it often. He set the bar high without a doubt. He had a smile that could light up the room and a sense of humor no matter what the situation. He wanted to focus on the happy times and not dwell on the bad. He was an amazing man and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
