Tracy Lynn Jones Turner, 50, of Sweeny, Texas, passed away unexpectantly Dec. 31, 2020, after suffering a massive heart attack. Tracy was born to Paul and Margaret Jones March 28, 1970, in Freeport, Texas. Three years later her only-child status would forever be changed with the birth of her sister, Jenna, who would become her best friend and "second mother" as time passed. Tracy is survived by her loving husband of 8-plus years, David "Bear" Turner Jr., her cherished son Mason Stanford, her beloved sister Jenna Jones Ford (Michael), step-father Larry Bright, step mother Beverly Jones, sisters-in-love Jessica Turner (Shawn), Stacy Polk (Clint) and Allison Hemphill (Zack); bonus children Chayse and Cierra Turner and Brennen Henderson, step-siblings Michael Hartman, Larry Ray Bright (Debbie) and Tina Marie Bright, in-laws David Turner Sr. and Brenda and Sherie and Mike Eulenfeld, nieces and nephews McKamey, Kantyn, Fallon and Bailey Ford, Nicolas Polk, Clint Polk Sr. and Tyler Bright (Brandy), great-nephew Luke Polk; the father of her child and first husband Khoury Stanford, her best friend in life Dana Zimmerle and her precious fur baby, Paisley. Preceding Tracy in death are her father, Paul Jones, and her mother Margaret Bright; her grandparents and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She grew up in Jones Creek, attended Brazosport High School and Jones Creek Baptist Church, where she was baptized. Tracy will be remembered most for her warm, welcoming manner that was accompanied by that big dazzling smile and her laughing brown eyes. She was an excellent cook who loved her time in the kitchen. Tracy also had an artistic streak that she discovered later in life when she realized that she could design and build holiday (and other) decorative door wreaths - which she gave away almost as many as she sold. A memorial service to celebrate Tracy's life will be January 9 at 2 p.m. at the Jones Creek Baptist Church led by Brothers Sidney Tenery and Brent Pittman. There will be capacity limitations and all in attendance will be required to social distance and wear masks. Cremation is being handled by Palms Funeral Home.
