Velva Mae Petenbrink

Velva Mae Petenbrink, 74 of Brazoria passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014. She was born February 7, 1940 to Dean & Dora Clifford in New Waverly, TX. Velva was a member of Second Baptist Church in Angleton. She enjoyed taking care of animals, watching wrestling, playing bingo and sewing. She was an amazing cook and could out fish anyone. Her parents and husband, George Donald Petenbrink preceded her in death. She is survived by her children; Jimmie Dean Petenbrink and wife, Sonyia, Velvie Savage and husband, Robert, Vernon Petenbrink & wife Cynthia, and Veda McLarty & husband, Chuck, step sons, Raymond & Donnie Petenbrink, 13 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren with one on the way. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 15th at 1:00 p.m. at Palms, with burial to follow in Angleton Cemetery.
