Vicki Lea Kelley

Vicki Lea Mathews Kelley, 55, of Brazoria, Texas, passed away on October 28, 2021. She was born on June 3, 1966 in Freeport, Texas to Jerry Mathews and Janice Cameron Mathews. After graduating high school in 1984, she married the love of her life, Benny Kelley. She loved spending time with family. She was always kind and understanding. An amazing wife, mother, and Nana. She loved watching her shows and reading as many books as she could. She was truly an amazing woman and will be missed dearly. Vicki is survived by her bonus mother, Patricia Pate Mathews; mother in law, Martha Kelley Monclova; son, Christopher Kelley and wife, Erin; daughter, Amanda Smerek and husband Matthew; grandchildren: Rylea, Janice, Cameron, Elijah and Colt; sister, Kaye Penton; brother, Raymond Mathews and wife Brenda; sister, Sherry Jeffcoat and husband Wesley; sister, Peggy Jakubec and husband Kenneth; bonus brother, Curtis Pate and wife Laura; and bonus sister, Jean Ann Morris and husband Jerry. Vicki is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Mathews; mother, Janice Cameron Mathews; and husband, Benny Kelley. Friends will be welcomed by the family at the Visitation that begins at 10:00 a.m. with the Funeral Service starting at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Palms Funeral Home, 2300 E. Mulberry St., Angleton, Texas 77515. The burial will immediately follow at Brazoria Cemetery. Pallbearers are Raymond Mathews, Rickey Edge, Tyson Rhone, Paul Nelson, JR Zarate and Wesley Jeffcoat.
