Vicki Sims

Vicki Nichol Sims was born July 25, 1938 in Celina, Collin County, Texas to William H & Amy Jewel (Pilcher) Nichol and died on June 30, 2015 in Houston, Texas She was preceded in death by her parents and brother T.R. (Reggie) Nichol. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jay Sims and sons; Bill Sims of Pigeon Forge Tennessee, Doug Sims and wife Valerie of Danbury and daughter Nicci Smith and husband Lance of Alvin and five grandsons; Dylan & Jacob Sims of Danbury, Dalton & Drayton Smith of Alvin & John Sims of Bakersfield, Ca. and 2 Great-Grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Dylan, Jacob, Dalton, Drayton, Jarrod Smith and George Thompson. Honorary Pallbearer will be grandson John Sims. Visitation will be Sunday, July 5th from 5-7 at Community Baptist Church in Danbury. Services will be held on Monday July 6th at Community Baptist Church.
