Vickie Kaatz

Vickie Kaatz, 63, of Angleton, Texas passed away on October 25, 2014. Vickie was born to Leo Keopecky, Jr. & Wanda Phillips Kopecky in Dallas, Texas on September 29, 1951. A Funeral Mass at St. Michael's Catholic Church (100 Oak Drive South Lake Jackson, Texas 77566) is scheduled on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Palms Funeral Home on Monday, October 27, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Vickie was very involved in her community she was a member of SPJST Lodge 84, Angleton Chamber of Commerce, she was a BCFA Lifetime Member, she was involved in the St. Michael's Women's Club, a CCE Teacher at St. Basil's, and a Eucharistic Minister. Vickie was a successful entrepreneur, a loving wife and homemaker, as well as a devoted dance mom. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1969 and attended Brazosport College. On October 10, 1970 she married the love of her life, Michael Kaatz, Sr. in Dallas, Texas. Vickie is survived by her husband, Michael Kaatz, Sr. her son, Michael Kaatz, Jr. and his wife Jennifer, her daughter Tammie Myers and her husband Brian, and her granddaughters; Kelsie Myers, Phoebe, & Zoey Kaatz. She is preceded in death by her parents Leo Keopecky, Jr. & Wanda Phillips Kopecky Her granddaughters meant the world to her. She told them they would always be in her heart and she would always be in their hearts.
