Virginia Guinn Morrow

Virginia Guinn Goff Morrow, 76, of Angleton made her transition from life on earth to life in heaven and from her final suffering to eternal peace on September 27, 2018. A Memorial Service is planned for Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 2:00pm in First United Methodist Church in Angleton. Visitation will be from 1:30-2:00 pm on Sunday also in First United Methodist Church. Guinn was a lifelong resident of Angleton and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a DOW Chemical Retiree who worked in the Maintenance Department for many years. She loved playing games and was an avid bridge player, very proud of the points she earned toward her Masters in duplicate. She enjoyed reading and spent many hours with her favorite authors as well as word search puzzles. Guinn had a deep abiding love for family and friends and was generous to both. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and friends and family looked forward to Christmas and their multiple bags of goodies. Guinn was preceded in death by her parents Edward Roland and Virginia Goff, her daughter Melinda Morrow Christensen, grandson Hunter Dane Christensen, and brother Edward Roland Goff, Jr. She is survived by her son Darwin Allen Morrow II and wife Jackie, grandchildren Darwin Allen Morrow III, Dillon James Morrow, Austin Michael Morrow, Morgan Rianne Andoe and husband Justin, and great grandchildren Weston Lee and Baylee Bell Andoe. She is also survived by brother Walter Luther Goff and sister Michal Cook and husband Danny as well as numerous dearly loved relatives.
