Virginia Marie Lowe

Virginia Marie (Gifford) Lowe, 91, of Lake Jackson, Texas gained her angel wings and went to live with her Lord and Savior on December 3, 2015 at her home. She was born March 21, 1924 to Thomas F. & Ona (Neal) Gifford in Waco, Texas. Memorial Services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas. Virginia was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples Of Christ in Lake Jackson. She served her country in the United States Army Air Corps as a Corporal. Marie loved to shop, and do crafts which included making miniatures. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. She absolutely adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth H. Lowe and her two brothers; Johnny and Fred Gifford. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Patricia Hopkins and her husband James, and Mary Breaux and her husband Jerald, her sisters; Betsy Schnell, and Jimmie Lou Connor and her husband Abe, her sisters-in-law; Xavier Gifford and Beverly Gifford, her grandchildren; Dawn Etheridge and her husband Jeff, Jared Hopkins and his wife Katie, and Brittany Carder and her husband Joe, her great-grandchildren; Shelby Etheridge, Mallory Etheridge, Addison Hopkins, Marshall Hopkins, Emilee Carder and Avrey Carder as well as, her numerous nieces and nephews. The family requests that in lieu of flowers you donate to your favorite charity in Virginia's name.
