Walter Luther Goff

Walter Luther Goff, 74, of Angleton passed away on March 6, 2024. Walter was born on July 19, 1949, in Angleton to Edward Roland and Virginia (Patterson) Goff.

Luther attended Angleton High School and graduated in 1967. He attended Alvin College and Brazosport College. He would graduate from Thomas Road Bible Institute in May of 1978.

Luther had a number of talents. He was a gifted musician and enjoyed writing music. He had a talent for drawing and had the opportunity to sell some of his sketches. Walter had a gift for public speaking and, for a time, served as a pastor in Canada. He also enjoyed working on cars and the process involved in restoring classics like his ’57 Chevy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Roland and Virginia Goff. Also, his brother Edward Roland Goff Jr. and Virginia Guinn Morrow.

Those left to remember him are as follows: His three children, Jeffrey Dodd Goff, Jennifer Lynn Smith and Jannah Marie Hardy and Walter’s sister, Michal Rae Cook.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 2:00 at the Angleton Cemetery.
