William Cecil 'Bill' Arnold

William "Bill" Cecil Arnold, 72 of Angleton, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012. He was born October 14, 1939 in Groveton, TX to Clayton and Trudy (Allen) Arnold. Bill was a graduate from Sam Houston State University. He owned Arnold's Tax Service in Angleton for 41 years. Bill was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Bill loved watching football, from Angleton High School games to the Houston Texans and Houston Astros. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Clayton Allen Arnold. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Emma Rose; son, William C. Arnold, Jr. and girlfriend, Alexandra Thornton of Houston; daughter, Jenny Nelson and husband, Eric of Louise, TX and their children, Emma and Andrew; sister-in-law, Patricia Eddington; niece, Michelle Eddington; nephew, David Eddington; and his loyal canine companion, Frosty. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the animal rescue of your choice or the Brazoria County Library.
