William Floyd Cooper, age 57, of Clute, Texas passed away June 16, 2019. William was born on October 11, 1961 in Rome, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, James & Sarah Marie Cash and his father and mother-in-law, Jerry Lee and Beverly Ann Brown. He is survived by his sons, Justin William Cooper & wife Christina, of Alvin, and Jason O'Neal Cooper, and ex-wife & best friend, Darla Brown, of Angleton. His brothers, Gary Cooper & wife Traci of Georgia, James Cash & wife Kay of Georgia, his sisters, Glenda La Rue & husband Bill of San Antonio, & Barbara Wideman & husband Travis of Alabama, his brother-in-law, Mark Brown & wife Donna of Crosby, & Mike Brown & wife Darlene of Angleton, his grandchildren, Peyton Grange, Deena Grange, Elizabeth Cooper, & Mason Lane Cooper; and numerous nieces & nephews. William was a loving father and very proud of his children and grandchildren. He was a member of Chocolate Bayou Worship Center. He enjoyed deer hunting and flounder fishing. He was a member of the Pipefitter's Local 211 Union. He was an EMS/Firefighter for Danbury, Texas where he raised his family and was very active in Justin and Jason's sports endeavors from elementary to high school. He was supportive in the Brazoria County community as a restaurant owner, volunteer, house builder, owned a trucking business and worked in the local plants as a pipefitter. He was always available to lend a hand and often provided funds and labor to help the community. A Celebration of his Life will be presented at Palms Funeral Home on Friday, June 21, 2019 with a the family entry at 12:30 to 1:00 and open to friends at 1:00 pm. Memorial Services will follow at 2:00 pm, with Steve Vaughn officiating. Flowers and plants are appreciated as are donations made to Chocolate Bayou Worship Center @ WWW.ChocBay.Org.
