Wilma Berniece Dannhaus, 84, of Jones Creek, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, November 4, 2018. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas. Reverend Charles Casteel of Sagemont Baptist Church in Houston, TX will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Palms Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral at Gulf Prairie Cemetery in Jones Creek at 1:00 PM Funeral arrangements are being handled by Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas. Wilma was born in Olden, Missouri on November 22, 1933. She was married to the late Harvey D. Dannhaus on August 18, 1950. They were married 57 years. They had four daughters, Katrina Dannhaus Packard, Terri Lynn Dannhaus, Theresa Anne Dannhaus and Pamela Denise Dannhaus. Wilma is survived by her daughters, Katrina Dannhaus Packard of Schulenburg, Theresa Anne Dannhaus of West Columbia and Pamela Denise Dannhaus of Alvin, Also her brother, Homer Adams of Dyersburg, Tennessee, She has five grandchildren; Steven Packard Jr. (Deanna) Matthew Partlow, Jean-Anne Danford (Jarrid) Chris Johnson (Rhonda) Ryan Johnson (Jennifer). Great grandchildren include Easton (10), Ellis (7) and Ellyatt Danford (4), Jaxon (6) and Josephine Packard (3) Parker (7) and Dylan Johnson (2), Logan Johnson (10). Along with many other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Wilma worked as an accountant for H. D. Services and Electrical Supply Company, the family business and supported the various projects undertaken by her husband, Harvey. She enjoyed attending the Brazosport College Personal Enrichment and Leisure courses and was a supporter of The Center for the Arts and Sciences. She also organized the first Red Hat Society for Brazoria County and participated in the Quilting Group that made the quilts auctioned at the Jones Creek Fire Department fund raiser each year. Wilma and her husband, Harvey were actively involved with several organizations throughout the years in the community. She was an Associate Member for the Brazoria County United States Marine Corps League Detachment #982, U. S. Coast Guard, Clute Softball Association, and a Board Member for Junior Achievement. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Dannhaus; daughter; Terri Lynn Dannhaus & partner Michelle Johnson, parents, Homer and Francis Adams; sister, Mary Jane and husband, Arthur Langston, and Sister in Law; Laura Faye Dannhaus The family of Wilma Dannhaus wishes to thank her nurses, Karen Donath and Lori Delgado for their kind care during her battle with cancer and the members of the Brazoria County Marine Corp League Detachment #982.
