Wilma Joyce "Joyce" Grimes

Wilma "Joyce" Grimes, 81, of Angleton, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Nellie Stewart Brothers; husband, Reuben D. Grimes, Jr; and son, Reuben Joseph Grimes "Jojo". Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Joanie Grimes Guined and husband, Tony, and Frances Grimes Casper and husband, David; grandchildren, Tony A Guined, Jr. and wife, Jessica, Emily Guined and fianc, Josh Longoria, Saddle Casper and fianc, Amanda Osbourn, and Cody Casper and wife, Chantal; great grandchildren, Kemper Guined, Brynlee Longoria, Drayton, Chloe, and Camryn Casper, and baby Skylar Longoria due in March. Joyce was born in Rockport, Texas, on January 15, 1939. She loved country music and spending time with family. Mrs. Joyce or Momma Joyce, as many lovingly called her, owned a daycare "Small Wonder Daycare" for 17 years and raised many children. She could be described as a loving mother, caring grandmother and great grandmother, a wonderful aunt, and a compassionate person and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation and funeral service will take place for Joyce at Palms Funeral Home, Angleton, Texas, on, Friday, October 16, 2020. The visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until the service starts at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Angleton Cemetery. Space is limited Due to COVID-19 & Masks are required.
