Winford Hoyt 'Wimpy' Lowe

Winford "Wimpy" Hoyt Lowe, 75, of Angleton passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston after a sudden bout with cancer. A memorial service will be held at 10:00am Saturday, May 21, 2016 at First United Methodist Church, 219 N Arcola Angleton, TX 77515. Visitation will follow the service in the Family Life Center. Wimpy was born January 8, 1941 in Trinity, Texas to Susie Bernice Bennett and Jodie L. Lowe. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters-in-law Don and Judy Lowe, O.J. and Anna Mae Lowe, and Kenneth and Jennie Lowe. Wimpy is survived by his wife of 52 years Betty Richey Lowe of Angleton, son, Hoyt Lowe and wife, Shelly of Angleton, son#2, JohnBoy Woods, granddaughters, Katy Lowe and Haley Lowe, grandsons, Steffen Girod, Gunnar Girod and Alissa Tullos, and great grandson, Easton Girod.
