Winnie Lou Bradberry

August 15, 1924 — March 10, 2016

With a heavy heart we announce the passing of Winnie Lou Taylor Bradberry on Thursday, March 10, 2016. Winnie was a courageous kindred soul that walked this earth for better than ninety one years. She is now in a better place, at home with our Lord. Winnie was born in Crocket, Texas on August 15, 1924 as the eldest child of Clyde Preston and Nettie Taylor. She ran a small business in Angleton as a beautician for thirty years. Her many interests included travel and outdoor activities such as gardening, fishing, and camping. Her passion was tending to family. She is survived by her husband of nearly sixty years, Beaman J. Bradberry; her youngest sister, Lolly Harris; three sons, Clyde Everett Blackwell (Beverly), Terry A. Blackwell (Jane Hughson), and Timothy A. Bradberry (Callie); three grandchildren, Darrell Blackwell, Brian Blackwell, and Lela (Bradberry) Siegel; three great-grandchildren, Hanna, Heath and Hunter Siegel; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters (Dolly Still, Janie (Riggle) Marshall); and two grandchildren, Angela (Blackwell) Monclova and Richard Blackwell. Pallbearers will be Micheal Siegel, Kelly Still, Shayne Still, Steve Riggle, Benny Dunn, and Clint Rouse. The family will host a visitation Sunday, March 13th at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton from 4pm to 6pm. Services are to be held at Palms Funeral Home Monday, March 14, 2016 at 2pm.
