Yvonne Nunez

On September 21, after 47 years on this earth, Yvonne (Carrales) Nuez passed on from this life to the next. She was born on June 12, 1970 at Torrejon AFB in Madrid, Spain, the daughter of Jos Eli&uacuted and Marcela (Leal) Carrales. A graduate of Angleton High School in 1988, she studied cosmetology and went on to a professional career in the service industry and somewhere in the midst of it all, she married and had three children. Known for her effervescent personality, she was never one to know any strangers and she made friends wherever she went. Her laugh was contagious and she had a very loving heart from where she gathered all of her strength. She is survived by her mother, Marcela; her sister, Genieve; her brother, Joe and her children, Hector, Nicholas and Xavier. Preceding her in her passing are her father, Jos and her sister, Bonita Lynn. A memorial will be held at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas on Friday, October 13 from 5pm-8pm followed by a rosary. Most Holy Trinity Church will have a mass for her on Saturday, October 14 at 10am. Those who would like to attend her memorial are asked to wear red in her honor.
